Crappie Report 2/26/2011

Hey folks-went fishing in the back water off the AR river near Dumas. Sad day until I found em. Ended up 29 crappie and 2 large red ear bream. Caught around 50, half of what I kept I was proud of. The other half were decent. Big ones averaged 12", the rest were less than 10". Most were female. Eggs are starting to soften up. They were gathered up in a log jam. Water temp was 51. About another week or so before they move to the shallow water. Wife is mad. Making more room in the freezer. Trying em again tomorrow. Fish Safe!

Nice did you catch them this morning or afternoon i may try the river at pine bluff tomorrow. How deep were they. thanks good luck tomorrow

I almost went to the river at Pine Bluff today myself. Instead I took the 7 yr old and we went to the lower Saline river. Caught 1. Then we drove over to Tri-County. Caught a few dinks there. The son had fun being in the boat though.

they were catching some today in wal-mart bayou in pine bluff.the ones i seen was 10-12in.
