Default Greers Ferry is llllooooowwwww! Any advise

Went on Greers Ferry on Sunday and it was loooowwww! I had to hang my trailer wheels off the end of the landing at Hill Creek to launch my boat. Furthermore, I ran up on some submerged stobs before I knew it. Luckily I did not hit anything.

Anyway I'm writing to find out what kind of jigs/lures folks like to use in middle fork, hill creek, little red river areas. Please include what colors, size, weight, style, method of retrieval. Will appreciate any advice on this.

I sure hope we get some rain soon or it's going to be a long hot

Welcome to the board. I am heading to Greers this weekend and I haven't been up there in over a month. I am not fishing in the bass tournaments but I have heard that there will be two different tourneys leaving from devils fork saturday morning. I expect there to be a lot of traffic this weekend. I don't much like Hill Creek ramp when the waters low cause if you look off the dock you can see rebar sticking out of the concrete but I have launched there a few times with the water this low and still am yet to blow a tire out.
nothing beats time on the water

Just moved to the Lake a couple month ago but have not been out on it since Nov. May give it a try Saturday. If I was going I would long line jigs and roadrunners tipped with a minner. I bet it is gin clear since we have not had any rain to speak of since summer.

I wish, just make the drive everyday. The wife wanted to see what it would be like to live at the lake so we sold our house in Batesville and moved into our mobile home @ Sugar Loaf. We now have bought a house in Mystic Isle next to Middle Fork and I have been remodeling it. That why I don't have a fishing report for afishyfella but that will change soon.
