    Default Rod holders

Some of the guys ask about home made rod holders----I usually make all of mine and holders for long Crappie poles. I can never find what I want and I like to have my boat organized to prevent for stepping on stuff or being crowded.
I am making these shown for my new Stick---Steer I bought last week---Need to get it in the water Monday.

The PVC pipe is 1 1/4--- 24 inches---The holder at the top is cut from a piece of 6 inch water pipe---this pipe is 1/4 inch thick--The cap is made to fit on top.-----The screw is 1 1/2 X 1/4 inch with 2 washers----1/4 inch flat nut and a 1/4 inch tap nut.
I use the tap nut on the top cause you can tighten it down pretty good and will not loosen up, but still swivel the holders. Bolts, nuts and washers all 1/4 inch.
Sorry for taking up so much space--If there is a easier way just holler.
I made 8 of these Rod holders for about 15-20 bucks---when I am done and on my boat I will take another photo.

Nice job, Backwater! I think you'll enjoy Monday. Show us some pics after you get them on the boat and the boat in the water! Thanks for the post.

The Rod Holders----I am going to display a couple of different verisons that I intend to use. I am like the weather--after a while I think of a different and better way to do them.
I should have my boat done by tomorrow evening---I am going to add a couple of things that may interest some.
I try and make decent things to go on my boat that looks nice--even if it is home made and I paint them also.
I will show it very soon.
