Sometimes I fish so for back into the sticks I have to pull my boat though buck brush and around a few logs.Alot of people goes by it while fishing there and doesn't even know its there. The buck bruch is getting thicker and taller not counting gettting bigger around too.Had to give up one day while trying to pull thug and pull though the thick stuff b/c of low water.
Its fairly a good size little lake and at times covered in duck weed and at times its so clear it looks black. The first time I fished it I ran into bigfoot fishing on the north bank.He and I both acted as tho we didn't see each other.I'd look over at times and he'd be catching fish after fish, when I seen him fixing to look my way I'd act like I wasn't watching him.He used a short willow limber limb and a short line what looked to be 1oolb test. When I looked over again to see if I could see what he was useing for bait but he was gone. The sun was going down so I decided not to fish in his spot that day.Early next morning I was pulling and thugging though that buck brush you'd thought a bulldozer was coming though.O NO there he was again in the same spot catching fish after fish.Again I looked over and was going to act like I didn't see him again but he had a different look on his face this time.I was afraid to look over at him that day to see If I could see what he was useing for bait. Two days later I was back pulling and tugging and low behold he wasn't there fishing.I had the lake all to my self I could fish anywhere I wanted to.I didn't just rush over to his honey hole but I was working my way around to it.As I was getting closer to the spot I noticed his limber willow limb was hidden under a old rotten log.I'm not a brave man but I wasn't catching every many that day.The closer I got to the spot the better my hearing was getting b/c I could hear a leaf hit the water. Then I noticed a sign nailed to a tree and was bigfoots writing and stateing he does not eat fish and uses them as bait to eat crappie fisherman.

I think I have fished there before
nothing beats time on the water
You are correct about one thing---Many guys with pretty boats will pass up the heavy brush---shallow--hard to get to places and where they may scratch a boat.
Myself that is where I love to fish. At times I have had to use poles I made from PVC pipe to get through shallow places or get off stumps.
Them gators love to hang out in those places also.
