    Default Great day on the river


    I decided to try Crappie fishing up river on Nimrod before the bad weather hits. Went out at noon and there was an east wind. Saw a few Turkey, a couple Deer, and lots of Ducks. I kept a limit of Crappie and probably released twice that many. Water was slick as glass before I came in. Everything looked cool with the overcast (low light) sky.

    I haven't been to Nimrod in about 18 moons. Yall are doing some fine work up there.

    Sounds like you had a great day on the water. Sometimes just being out there in nature is the trip, and catching a limit is just a bonus!
    My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

    Supposed to be in the mid forties and sunny on Saturday.:D:D Don't know about the wind though.
