    Default Lake Barnett low

Dont know much about Barnett, went by the other day and the water seems to be 4-5 feet low. Is it being drawn down by the AGFC, or just lack of water? Anyone ever had any luck there? Looks stumpy!
    Thanks

It doesn't just look stumpy it is stumpy. I have fish it a couple of time with little success but some catch some good fish out of it.

Very stumpy and the quality of fish has been down the last 2-3 years but you can still catch a fine mess of decent size crappie there. We had a couple of nice trips over there last spring. Best fishin seems to be in Feb and Mar.

Launch at the second boat ramp and run down to the end of the dam right now with the water being low you can see the old creek that runs through the lake and stay out of the stumps. I have a friend that can run the lake in a 18 ft bass cat and never touch a stump even when the water is high.
nothing beats time on the water
