Found Silver Glory/A Lil Money/and A Hog on Gold Creek/1-6-11

Well Guys Iv'e cleaned my Winchester 270 and Remingtom 30-06 sighted em in and put em up till next year. A good meat year with four deer brought home. This was my third trip to Gold Creek and I struggeled to get back into the Grove of catching em with only 5and 10 fish caught respectively the first two trips.

Today I scratched out a good limit verticle jigging a Chart tube in the pool and docks. The brush pile in the middle of the pool gave up a nice 2.8 lb hog which Dano said is the biggest he has weighed in this year. I feel honored Dano.:D The bite died off in the pool for me, so I started fishing flats with a Chart Stinger/1/32oz head and bobber fishing anywhere from 1 1/2 foot deep to three feet and slow rolling a long cast back to the boat. More than half my catch was before dark. Anyways after I get em home I look at my fish just before cleaning and see two tagged reward fish from the AGFC pictured. WOW Silver Glory, Money Fish, and a Hog all in one day LOL, it dont get any better that. :D

I would like to thank the AGFC for the Crappie/tagged fish reward program on Lake Conway. I know allot of us Gripe about you-all sometimes, but I still would'nt trade you all in for another state LOL, and over-all I do appreciate the Job You do and what You Stand For.
