Lake Dardanelle

I fished Dardanelle 5 times the last 6 days. Twice at Ouita, twice at Shoal Bay and once at Piney. My total catch for the 5 days are a total of 2 slab crappies at Piney. One 4inch black nose crappie , 2 drum and a catfish at Ouita. One 2 lb. large mouth at Shoal Bay. It is the worse week of fishing I have ever had and I tried the hardest. I tried everthing I knew to do. I was convinced that I just didn't know what I was doing, but after talking to several people I know that crappie fish about everyday, they are having the same luck. The weather is too nice with sunshine, calm winds and full moon. Anyway, thats my excuse.
To top things off, the catfish weighed about 4 lbs and I caught him on the middle pole of a spider rig. That was a lotta fun.
