    Default Gold Creek

Went to Gold Creek today. Got on the water at 8:30. Quit about an hour after the front blew through and the wind got bad. Brought home 17 with a few nice ones. Didn't catch a fish worth keeping after the wind switched. Caught em up shallow in the thick stuff on a chart/white jig tipped w/ white nibble.

Glad you caught a few. I tried again today and the fish slowed when the front started passing through here also.

Yes, there was only a few folks out there, but I did see a couple of nice ones caught out deep. Looked like they were fishing at least 6' and using several poles w/ minnows. I was catching em in about a foot of water and watching most of em eat the jig just beneath the surface - fun stuff!

    Good luck guys!

Sounds like you was on 'em until that wind messed you up. Congrats on the mess you got.
