Default Memoir's of J.T. Hunting Club/Union County Arkansas/A Brotherhood of A few Good Men

I was invited to the J.T. Hunting Club by Crappie.Com member/Ski Trip as a guest. This was my first time hunting with any kind of hunting club, as all my past hunting was a lone expedition or with a family member or a friend or two. So I was a little leary on what to expect in a large Deer Hunting Club. Well when I finally arrived at the camp just two miles from the LA border and due south of ElDorado AR, I met Jerry/Ski Trip and every man (must have been 12 or something) with names like B.O. and Lightning (Both 83 years old) and still climbing deer stands, and some others with normal names walked up to me and shook my hand and treated my like I was a long lost brother. I also met the Camp Chief J.T. who founded the club in 1976 and has been hunting it since. J.T. is one Heck of a nice Guy, but let me tell you, don't be the guy caught not leaving any corn cobs in the out house and have him follow you. The results of that are just plain scary and you may be seeing a harvest moon in camp.:D As I settled in I was constantly asked if I needed anything everybody in the camp had kind words and words of encoragement. As my hunting experiance continued I noticed something very special about this group of men. Although some were family members, they were all like brothers to each other and treated me like one of thier own. By the time my trip was over, I knew I had made several new friends and had come to know a group of men who were good family men, worked together, have honor and integrity, and keep their word on a hand shake. Not to mention the Outstanding Hunting as I glassed more than 60 deer in 3 1/2 days. Here are some Pics of my time at The J.T. Hunting Club deep down south in Union County Ar. A special Thanks to Jerry/Ski Trip for being my guide.
