Departee Creek , tuesday after work got the boat in the water about 4:45 by dark had limit of 30. Yesturday my son and i went and brought home 32. they wernt as many but they were all good fish. My son caught his biggest crappie yet. 16 1/2 inches and 2.6 pounds,it was a hog. It looked like a football, all the fish we caught were thick. That is were I will be .

I am going to Lake Quachita on a camping trip that several families do ever year. My buddy that has been going there this time of year for the last 40 year blew the motor up on his boat (oil injector went out) so I am going to leave my boat there for him to use next week.

Believe im going to go to glaise creek at hurricane. I was way in there yesterday helping my uncle drag out a monster deer and found some water that looked supreme and since backwoods has been tearin'em up in departee im gonna give that part of glaise a try.

    Back Woods,

Where's a good spot to put in at Departee? Wouldn't mind giving it a try if you don't mind some company. Can you launch on the otherside of the tiles off of Bradford Lake? Also was wondering, I have a small flatbottom that 1-2 persons can carry, is it possible to launch into Arm Lake this way and what do you think about trying Bradford Lake also?

Do you know that area pretty good? I think Arm lake would be great,You would need to bring your little boat because the last time i was up their the water in the arm was bad low. You could turn right just as you get to the arm and drive down to the lake ,and slide your boat in. Bfadford has been fished hard , i would put in the creek just before the tiles at the sharpe corner and go down. Give me a P.M. and i will give you my number, that goes for everyone that need some directions up this way.

G.K.batts You should do good their, back a few mounths ago we really done good thier. We put in at the wide spot and went up caught some really good fish.

Midnight Departee creek runs from the bradford area all the way into henry gray area, lot of people over look this little creek but it is one good place to pull some good fish out of.

If any of you guys want to go sometime just let me know and i would be more than happy to take yall on a trip to my honey holes, plind folded of course. LOL It would be an honor to take yall, just send me a PM to get my number.
