I also told her about crappie.com and I emailed her the link to this thread and to the main page on crappie.com. that pic is one of the nine brush piles they have put in that I can see from the hwy 9 boat ramp.

I went up to overcup this week. they have added 9 huge brushpiles and dug out the highway 95 boat ramp and they were starting to dig out the highway 9 ramp. they are also starting to mark the boat lanes too. When I went over to the hwy 95 ramp I met the new owner and she was a very nice lady. I hate that I cant remember her name. she is cleaning up the bait shop and restocking it. It looks super nice and she is doing a good job of stocking the bait shop with tackle and bait. She lives in the puma campers in front of the shop. she said if you need something just knock on her door if its afterhours. the new name of the landing is Michaels Lakeview Landing. Here is a link to her facebook page Login | Facebook

When I went up there a few weeks ago, it was very slow going and not just for me. Crappie wasn't biting at all but the owners son at the 95 ramp caught some really nice catfish. I think with all these upgrades and new brushpiles, it will turn out ok but I think it may take a while for it to fill back up again. Thanks for the updates bud!
A man is truly blessed, when he returns home from fishing to be greeted by the best catch of his life.
Im glad you said that deep_fried_crappie. She said that the game and fish werent going to fix the levy and let it fill up till the first of the yr. She said the fishing was slow but the crappie coming in were big crappie.
