Thinking about going to Nimrod in the a.m.

Anybody been the last few days?

What are they doin?

Yesterday it was s-l-o-w ! I kepted only 8 hand sized and a couple real good fish. It should be better with this front moving in.

Doesn't sound good. I guess I'll give it a try though. I haven't been over there in a couple weeks.

Saturday I went late and it was windy. Kept 6 Crappie 9 to 10'' , no slabs. Did land a Flathead Catfish about 6 lbs on a jig. That was fun , lost count of big Channels and LM Bass on a jig this summer. That made the 3rd Flathead this year and I've had several fish that I could'nt slow down with 8 lb test and a 12' bucks pole lately. Can't figure out the Crappie lately. Pulled my nets thinking the Crappie would pick up? Might have to go back to netting Buffalo and Catfish if the Crappie don't pick up soon.
