Finally, the bigger crappie are moving to shallower water. I caught 11 of these today at Ouita bay. They were in 10-14 ft. of water hanging just above the brush on the ledges. I caught all of them on a new bait sent to me from the crazy angler. They are called Slab Bandits and they sure did the job. Mostly on blue/pearl and blue/char. I lost the first 3 slabs and realized that there was too much plastic filling the hook gap on the jighead. I was using a 1/16 oz jighead but switched to one with a #4 sickle hook which has a bigger gap and then we got down to business. Crazy angler website is Crazy Angler Your here look no more

A man is truly blessed, when he returns home from fishing to be greeted by the best catch of his life.
Nice catch! Have you tried pulling cranks on Dardanelle?

Looks like they're moving everywhere. I caught a limit yesterday and only kept 6 today on Nimrod. Guess I'll go back to net fishing for a few days. May have to try Dardanelle soon while my nets are in Nimrod. Tough to decide whether to Crappie fish or net fish here. The law does'nt allow doing both at the same lake.
