Default Pounding em On Caney Creek/Lake Conway/10-13-10

Hey Guys Me and My brother have been making good catches since the last week of Sept on Caney Creek/Lake Conway work the edges vertically about two to three feet off the end of your long pole, use bright colors and a bright colored painted 1/32 oz head.
Dip and dunk along the edges and u should get thumped. Fish have been coming off the outcropings/edges of pads, isolated pods of pads and around timber along creek edges. Not many anglers out there to compete with right now if you hurry.

Nice catch CP. I'm wanting to hit Lake Conway soon. Going to hit Overcup this weekend and maybe shoot over to Conway later in the day or on Sunday afternoon. Good job.

Mid Night i had a couple of Fly By's but could'nt get one to land, same thing happened at Truman. Saw em Fly By but could not get em to land. Oh ya that Lucky Chicken is still around and last night she roosted on the Trolling Motor shaft on my War Eagle and left me a big mess to clean up if you know what i mean. Her days may be numbered. :D
