Hey guys, I am planning on going somewhere this weekend and was wanting to know where would be my best bet to catch some slabs around the Fort Smith area? Any tips/advice will be put to use I promise. I don't mind driving a ways but I don't want to make a big trip out of it. Thanks!

Thanks Nimrod! What is a good technique for out there this time of year to catch a few? I've been a bass fisherman all my life and am pretty new to the crappie scene.
blue mt fish in the creek anything going toward the channel and the drop off look for shad u will find the crappie
you might be ok right now iwth the game ranger down on blue mt. but they check a lot of people durning the summer and wrote a lot of tickets for not having your 50' rope tied to your throw cushing and having at least 3 signal flares and an orange flag for daytime distress siginal. but they are right about blue mt. and there is a store right before you get into waveland park that sells minnows.
