Default Crappie Masters Tournament Trail/Getting Ready To Fish the Classic on Lake Truman Mo.

Hey guys thought I would let you all know the Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters Tournament Trail is Coming to Lake Conway Apr 8th-9th 2011 (State Championship) and Lake Dardanelle in Russellville Apr 29th-30th (invitational). See CrappieMasters.com for more details on the tournaments. These will be some fun events to visit or fish in and I hope to see some of you fishing in them or at the Weigh -ins. If you have Kids take em to the Kids Rodeo CrappieMaster does this at each tournament and they really go out of thier way to make sure the kids have a great time, awsome stuff. This is just one of many reasons I support em and fish with em. MAN!!! I am getting excited and making preperations to fish the Classic on Truman Res in Clinton Mo. LOL just found out the town closes the schools for the event parade (Man Thats Serious Stuff) Darn im really going to haft to clean up the LOWE and Truck LOL. Anyways I will be on Truman Res every chance I get for the next three weeks and I have got some great tips from some of you and some friends who live in Mo. It will be up to me or the other Arkansas Teams to figure it out and try to bring home a Championship to Arkansas. I have one rule and that is to fish hard, within the rules, and leave nothing on the water so when the smoke clears on Truman I'll know I tried my Best and that's all anyone can really ask of themselfs. Win, Lose, or Draw this is going to be some fun stuff to watch and be apart of.. When this is all over I hope to take a bunch of you all up into the Pond this fall and catch a few. Got to love this time of year. Oh Ya... Go HOGS BEAT BAMA

Don't mean to highjack but when you say pond are you talking about Gold Pond tht is East of the bridges or the "Pool" that is West of the bridges up Gold Creek.

Wayne im talking the Wilimeana Cove up the creek where the iron bridge is. We are about 2-3 weeks for it to start getting right. The fishing will be great in the pads along the main creek channel of Gold Creek at first and then the bite will start in the pool about the third week in Oct. Things are probly going to start a little later this year due to the real hot summer we had.
