    Default Mississippi River Oxbowt better luck


    Well I fished in water a little closer to home on sunday and had a lot better luck. Iam having problems posting pic. I will try to send them.

    And you are correct. We also fished Island 40 and it had 4 foot at the deepest. Dacus had some 12 to 14 foot of water in it.

    Nice catch! Why didn't you call me? How is the ramp there now? Last time, and only time I went, I almost had to call a wrecker to pull me back up the ramp. Seems there was a hole or something else that would not let go of my trailer!

    The ramp is in bad shape.2feet down the ramp it ends and falls off. Had to use 4WDto get out
