    Im New To This Area And Was Just Curious If Anyone Has Ever Seen Any Alligators In This Lake,,seemes Like A Crazy Question I Know,,but I Was Concerned As I Fish With My Dog Who Tends To Do Some Swimming And Bird Watchin,, Are Gators Known To This Area,,its My Understanding That They Are Mainly South Of Here Along The Texas Boarder,,

    I come from the SE part of Texas and have messed with my share of gators. But, the biggest one I have ever seen was about 12' while fishing near Arkansas Post. I am not sure where you are talking about. But, there have been reports (with pictures) of gators up in the Little Rock area in recent years. I take my grand kids on the river frequently. Just out of an old habit I always watch for "slides" along the banks before we go swimming.

    I live about 25 min south of you in booneville there are no gators in jack nolan 2-3 have been caught out of the pettite jean here in booneville but more than likely pets that overwhelmed owners pine bluff and south is more common If thier was to be one in jack nolan it was released there but im 99.9% sure there is not one in there lots of good bass though

    dont worry about them, just worry about your boat and all of the structure there, I have only been there a couple of times, look for wade, he has the dock on the s.w. side of the lake he is a great guy. you dont have to worry about the gators until you get in the dequeen area. Have fun
