Thanks for that report. I noticed the last couple trips I had, last weekend, that the jigs are working well with the water temps falling.Monday here, the water temps was 81.2 but was 84 the weekend before. ITs allmost time to start slaying em.![]()

Well water temp here is 79 today . They shallowed up and were clobbering my jigs. I did not take pics in the rain. Culled alot of fish 9 to 10''. Kept a limit of Crappie 10'' to 14'' . Man the hit my jigs like they were trying to kill it.:D Plain jigs no minnows or nibbles used.
Spent some time building stakebeds too.
Needed a good day after a failed trip down at Peckerwood.

My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
We caught a few on jigs yesterday but still have water temps a little above 80 and still relying on the minnows to keep the action hot. We got rained on too.
Temp on Oologah dropped 2 degrees before the rain hit and was 78. Bite is on here for sure.

Spent all day yesterday and most of today building Crappie condos . Then went out late this afternoon and they were biting, caught 10 in first 45 minutes off one condo. Ran into a Crappie.com watcher and told him he needed to sign up and post. He knew who I was from the site , not the first to recognize me from here. Talked to him I guess a good 1/2 hour before moving on to fish. Next 1/2 hour kept 2 more nice fish and called it quits. They were biting my same ol Umbrella jig in Purple/ Chartruse just like in the picture on this thread. Wished I had really fished today as the bite is back on . Usually takes about 3 days after a front here for the fish to settle down.![]()
