    Default Degray Lake 9-11-10

Dad and I managed 8 crappie, 1 bass, and 1 bream. Lake temp was 81 degrees. We were fishing 10-14 feet deep in 15-22 feet of water. The bites were few and far between, but boy they sucked it down. The crappie were running a bit thin....can't wait for them to fatten up this fall. All of the crappie were over 9" long with the big one almost 16" long

Glad you found a few! The bite has been slower here last couple days. I kept about the same last two trips 9 Crappie and a Bass each morning with nothing under 10''. It should pick up again. Always slower for 3 days after a major front seems like. and we need water temps a little lower.

We don't use any rod holders you've made. I built all of the ones on the boat. I do have your spare one in my closet though. I need to get it back to you.
