And we have lived VERY well on that for a while thank you very much!! :cool: Truthfully though, we know its always tough...its always hard to pull good kids...we are always optimistic...probably have one of the strongest fan bases in the NCAA. GO HOGS!!! :D

well duckhunter...looks like the optimism paid off!! lol. Although it wasn't a blow out...we played a good game. Didn't get to watch...but UGA was a good test. Now bama...well thats a different story. Although we were short a running back..(game) today...we played well. My main concern is the defense...hopefully they'll keep playing with that chip on their shoulder! :)
yes, they did play a good game. i thought they played a very good game. but even a blind hog will find an acorn now and then.

Bottom Line: It was a good win for out team. I am sure there are some other teams that would take a win like this!!!
I was fairly pleased with the game. Can't complain too much over a road victory, no matter what it looks like.
seems like, either my last post was deleted or it didn't take one or the other. don't get me wrong, i'm all for the hogs/pigs/sows/boars/barrows/shoats/pigglets/ whatever you call them having a good season. but why did/do they play teams like ulm? and the first no name team they played? little ole ark state beat ulm. you don't get good or learn by playing teams like that. all you do is run up points and feel good about it. you got to play teams better than you are to learn. that's a fact of life in anything you do. you can't brag till you beat someone better than you.
barrows? i think that's a good name for your team. or pigglets.
I guess that explains why Georgia played Georgia Southern, Central Michigan and that football powerhouse Western Carolina!

Come on duck hunter tell us who ur team is. Don't tell me you are a houston nutt follower. I liked ole houston when he was our coach. But he coaches the admiral Ackbars now or what ever they changed their mascot to. When Petrino leaves I will still be an Arkansas fan. Next weeks score Arkansas 27 pink elephants 24 Nothing like being a homer.
Lets look back to one of the many "Nutt" things we did....do we remember when we started the season playing USC??...During their hayday??? LOL...I'll take a ULM anyday for a couple of "lets get our feet wet" games at the get go. Just the way you look at it...we play them as kind of scrimmages...they play us because they'll have WAY less competition when they get into their conference...good for both.
looks like they can play and play very well. i dvrd the game and watched it today.
that was a good\\\ game go hogs i still root for uk but in football they need to improve alot i just wish they would beat tn thats all thats on tv here on the border.

well, i swan. i think your little piggies played a good game today. really better than i expected them to do. even your defense was much improved. very much improved i have to say. i may have to change my thinking of what you wind up with. it may be 7-5. one thing i saw was your guys better protect that qb. he can't take a hit. got sacked at least 3 times that he had trouble getting up and wasn't hit that hard. a hard hit would take him out of the game. he's good though but any pressure and he falls apart. today was just one of the small bumps in the road i was talking about.

Bama Knew They were in a Hog Fight today Guys. Yes they lost the game today but it was a good hard fought game that had Bama on thier heels. It's still a long season and I sure did'nt see a losing Arkansas Team on the field today. I saw a team that's going to win 10 games and be in a BCS bowl at the end of the year.

somehow i really can't understand the devotion you people have of the little piggies. i mean down to even thinking/wishing what you do. i really think you can wish in one hand and crxx in the other and see which fills up first. the poor little piggies will not attain what you wish for the season. too many bumps in the road. and mainly your qb can't take a hit. he's a wimp. a good one but one anyway. the pros will eat him alive. that is if he makes the mistake of going pro. he's too big of a target. once again, someone did hit you in the head with a hammer.

Good thing we aren't playing in the pros. I don't think he is a wimp but I did notice he flopped a couple times trying to draw the flag. He will throw for at least 4,000 yds this season and he will own all the Ark passing records after this year. He will go pro after this year, that is the smart thing to do for him.(lots of money) No college degree will earn him that kind of money. Once he turns pro I will wish him well and start cheering for the next great Hog QB.(Wilson, Mitchell, Walker, Allen, Allen) Now we can move on to texas a m. That hammer only hurt the first couple of times. Don't even notice it anymore. Oh yea and where I am from we don't crxx in our hands.

It was obvious that "Bama was holding back and running a plain jane game plan rather than tip their hand to the Gators. They didn't want to do any more than necessary to beat the pigs. Like when momma was shocked when I won the big pecker contest. She asked if I showed my thingy. I answered well no. Just enough to win.
It was a very good game. Bama gave you all they had. Bama is not as good as they where last year. The hogs are a lot better this year than last year. Good luck the rest of the season. Now go kick Texas AM real good and make the SEC look good. I think the hogs can win out the rest of the way if you can beat LSU. You guys have a very good team! Go Hogs!!!
'Bama's depth wore the Hogs out in the last quarter. Arkansas "D" just got too tired to beat the 'Bama offensive line. Still gonna be a very good year, and 'Bama can be beat, I think anyone who watched the game has to admit it!Quote:

i've met him a few times down in moore haven , fl when he was fishing a tournament there. read he just won one somewhere. and yes, he seems like a very nice person. he's more of a good friend of a buddy of mine from mo. i think my friend buys marks reels when he's "done" with them that the company furnishes him for fishing the tournaments.
