Default Taylor Bay all to myself

Caught a few at Taylor Bay, probably caught 25 or 30, just brought home some of the bigger ones. Go fishing during the week with temperatures hitting 100 degrees and you probably will have most lakes to yourself.

A couple of the bigger ones, I was glad to get on some with some size, these went over a lb.

Nice fish, Kenneth! Your reward for braving this heat. Where did you put in to get to Taylor Bay? Single pole, spider rigging or what?Thinking about making a run over there one day next week. Supposed to be cooler. Congrats and thanks for posting the pics too!:D

Hey KG, you look just like yourself. You know in these temps, laying them on that kind of tailgate is gonna leave some good looking grill marks. :D

    Nice fish.

Caught these spider rigging with jigs. Red and chartruese seem like the best color for the crappie and the gar. Those gar sure can do some damage to a spider rig setup. I put in at camp ground right on Taylor Bay you can see it crossing the white river bridge for $3, you can put in up town in Augusta for no charge but would use that much fuel getting there.
