Default Crappie Fishing on Taylor Bay

Hi all. New to this site but wanted to report that fishing for crappie on Taylor bay, White River at Augusta, has been reported to us as being very good in 7-8 feet of water. One customer came in yesterday, went to Henry Gray, did nothing, went to taylor Bay and wore them out! River levels are around the mid 18 ft mark.

Really enjoy the threads here and will try to post pics as they come in.

    Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the report. Keep them coming. I think it will be a big help to us with real time fishing reports.I know Dan from Lake Conway does a good job with fishing reports.

I have always heard about Taylor Bay but never fished it. Even when I had a cabin inside Henry Gray.

Might put a phone number up and open times in case we need to check before we head that way.

Went To Henry Gray Yesterday And Fished Bell And Mallard Pond. Caught Four Fish. Left There About 10:30 And Was On My Way Home And Decided To Try Taylor's Bay. Wish I Had Stop There First. Jason And Me Caught 40 Really Nice Crappie. They Really Liked Black An Char. Tip With Minnow. We Stayed Until 3:45 And The Boats And Heat Got The Best Of Us. But It Still Was A Great Day Fishing. Water Temp Ws About 92 With A Thermo About 8 Feet. And That Was Where The Crappie Where.

We are open from 5:30 am till dark 6 days a week, closed on Mondays after 9 am. We hope to have the kitchen ready this fall for cooking. Still adding inventory but slow.(limited funds available). Use to be located at Henry Gray but moved across the river last year.

It hits White River on the east side of the river just above Augusta. You can see it crossing the bridge over the river going to Augusta from Bald Knob: just look upriver and you will see the bay and some boat docks.

Got the report a little late, went to Henry Gray this morning, caught a few crappie and some bream. Now I'm thinking seriously about going back in the morning to Taylor Bay.
Thanks for the report been wondering about that place.
