    Default Hot water Crappie

I went this morning and actually caught some descent Crappie. They were suspended in brush and hit silver/white jigs. Suprize'n thing is how hot the water was up in the day. My transducer is on the trolling motor . I pulled into the shallows to anchor and Catfish awhile after it got hot. My water temp gauge showed high 90's! Not sure if I want to brave the heat again till it cools down a little.

yea i was over there early wednesday morning and we caught a good mess of keepers and the water was in the low 90's. The fish are shallower than i thought over there though. I guess in this hot weather the oxygen levels down deep aren't good enough for them. We were catching them at 4ft in 18ft of water.

I was fishing last week. My reading was 91 Degrees at midnite to almost 2 AM when it went below 90.

I actually enjoy fishing at night in the dark when its so warm. Catching is another subject though.
I just wish I could be better at fishing. Or maybe luckier!:D
