    Default CP/DP's Fishing Adventure/Lake Conway

Met up with DP near my house on Lake Conway, fished from 6AM-Noon caught a nice Mess with several decent fish and some smaller. Here is some pictures of tis mornings action. White and Chart Midsouth tube took center stage agian tis morning. LOL DP was filleting em about as fast as I could hand em to him.:p You all know what a mess of crappie looks like anyway. DP it was fun meeting you on the water tis morning lets do it agian soon brother.

The last pic is a tree off Gold point I call ole Spooky, cos it's spooky to think about all the crappie thats been caught off it over the years. Find this tree and run your sonar from about my camera angle 5-15 feet and you'll know why they call it ole spooky.

if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to get struck by the stuff that made the thunder.

I can fish in the rain and I can fish in the cold, but I get off the water when I start hearing thunder cause lightnin' ain't too far behind it!:D Had a secretary one time whose boyfriend was at Millwood fishing and didn't get off the water and got struck by lightning and was killed. That'll make a believer out of you...or at least it should. No sense in taking chances.
