Default CRAPPIE BITING good at Henry Gray

Had a great weekend on the water, except for the heat, The fish were biting good even though the water is warmer than what I take a shower in. My son and I caught 47 Saturday and 30 Sunday evening. Most of them were good size crappie. Had some green carp to, with an 11 year old they want to keep anything that is big enough to fillet. Not real good on the computer but will try to post some pics later.

Congrats on the weekend. Bet that boy of yours had a good time.:D Would like to see the pics. If you look around this site you'll find two or three threads that explain in detail how to post pics. Reckon Henry Gray will stay good for a few days (until after this heat wave)? Way to go on the fish!:D
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

Which lake did you fish and how were the water levels? I was up there in June and did not do so good. Thanks.

We hit mallard pond and whirl lake to, we were using a blue and white jig for the most part and tight lining around the cypress tree that are out in the deeper water on the shady side. The water levels are low now but are holding stedy. I think that fishing will stay good for awile. Seems like the fish were bitting better mid day better than early or late, but i cant take the mid day heat as well anymore. Thanks for the replies and cant wait to go with some of you guys somtime.

I have to admit I'm a pansy. I'm just not going out as hot as it is.
