Assuming there is still a healthy population of hybrids there, use bass gear. I know more than one person who has had rods either snapped or snatched clean out of the boat. it would be interesting that is for sure.:D

That lake is not big enough for pulling cranks. Lake lice is too plentiful.

I have tried it a couple of times and only caught a few small ones. I would not dare try it on the weekend. Unless you go real early and leave when the fleas show up.
You should've been here yesterday!!!!

Kinda what I was thinkn on the size of the lake. Went with Hammer one time. Didn't take very long to run the lake. Just wondering if very many people have tried it.

When the lake roaches start coming out of the woodwork, just switch from the cranks to 1oz spinnerbaits and see how many you can hit.:D

Nothing wrong with that. I used to be one of those pleasure boaters back in my younger years too. Now I strickly fish but the lake's for everybody. Whatever it takes to enjoy yourself...I say!

Got a pretty tight lipped report from Horseshoe today. He said two weeks ago it was good on the other side of the lake.
