Would just to like to say hi to everyone. Been reading this forum for a while now and joined. Sounds like a bunch of good folks and good fishermen. Would like to learn how to fish the big lakes and the deeper waters. So bear with me if i ask some stupid questions.

That sounds like some of my buddys. I am from the bald knob area and i fish Departe creek, Glaze creek, all the lakes in Henry gray wild life man. area. Horse lake at Russell is my home lake. These lakes and creeks are not very deep water but we catch alot of slabs from here. If anyone needs any info on the lakes or creeks in this area just let me know before take a long drive i can let you know what the water is and how they are bitting. We had some good luck in the henry gray WMA last weekend but the white river has it all messed up now but i think it will put some fresh water back in and make things better.

Welcome from Conway, Back Woods. Lots of good folks on this board and good folks to learn from. Might holler at you sometime as I've always wanted to fish in the Henry Gray WMA and Hurricane Creek. Thanks for the offer.
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
Hey Back Woods, I live in Northeast AR, but fish the corp lakes in MS mostly for crappie.
What is the little horseshoe lakes name over at Augusta off the White? We used to bass fish that little pay lake, a nice little oxbow.
