Thanks Crappie Pro. I've seen the pictures and I admit ,the thought of throwing a jig around a cypress tree with you makes me drool. Then again, I've seen how many cypress trees are on Lake Conway. I believe I would be worn out if we tossed a jig around ALL the cypress trees on Lake Conway:D
ODH, I've heard the stories of the Kentucky bass that come from the St. Francis. Even though we've never targeted the bucket mouth carp, there always seem to be some to catch. The river is getting right to fish already. The last couple of years, it has come around really late. What I have found is that often with the water levels the way they are, even the crappie will be wormy. I spoke with a AGFC employee about this and he said there was no danger, to ignore them. Worms in the meat kinda ruin my day.
