Default Degray Lake Crappie 6/26/10 - Report

Caught a few this morning with my dad and one of my students. 12-15 feet deep in 25-30 feet of water. Minnows, Rosey Reds, and Shad colored tube jig.

That's some pretty fish. They may have been bigger than mine today.

I always cover up my bass also

We didn't measure any of the fish today. They weren't giants, but there wasn't a dink in the bunch.

Once again we caught all black crappie. Something about the lake or the part of the lake we're fishing I guess.

*I was wondering if anyone would notice that. One big brim in the bottom too.*

*Just noticed Mom's still got the wrong date set on her camera. I've got to remember to get that fixed.*

I did notice that they were all blacks and the bream is a dandy also. In the lake I fish we rarely catch a black crappie. We caught a few in the spring but come summer time they seem to disappear. Maybe they are hopping a bus and moving to Degray.

We did catch these off of bamboo crappie condos. About half were caught off of FFA & Corp condos and the rest off of some condos of my dad's and mine.
