For those of you that have had the pleasure of eating at Cody's Cafe in Jacksonville, you know the food is good and the service is good as well. One of the reasons was a woman named Debbie.

She was blond, shoulder length hair, mid 50's and was always happy and did a great job. I looked forward to going in and seeing her. I missed her when she was off.

Seems the last few times I've gone in there, she wasn't there, so today I asked about her. I was told that she collapsed at work and passed very quickly. I don't have any details, and I'm not even sure of when this happened. I just know I'm saddened by it. I liked her and she made going there special for me. I was always made to feel welcome and valued. I miss her. Just thought I would pass this along as I know we have some folks in that area that might have known her.
