went to clear lake last week

Got there about 3:00pm, and started off trying about 7 fow for crappie, and the gills wouldn't stop biting, so we switched over to smaller jigs and they just kept biting until almost 8:00 when we had to go home for supper. I guess we caught a total of about 42,000 gills, and about 25 crappie, mostly dinks, but it was the funnest trip of the year so far for me.

Also, does anbody know wehre youa re supposed to pay? I just kncoked on the door of the trailer and gave it to the lady who ansered the door.

I haven't been to Clear Lake in a couple years, but there used to be a big metal box out in front of the house beside the ramp in the big curve. They don't ask for a name or license plate number or anything. Honor system deal I guess since they can't verify if ya put $5 in the box or not.
