Any Arkansas River crappie anglers on here?

I've been lurking off and on for a while. I'm primarily a bass angler, but the river's been tearing me up lately. Figured I'd pull the crappie poles out of the rod box and try to find a few slabs for eating. Could anyone here help a fellow out with places to try in the Maumelle pool of the Arkansas River? Gas pretty much has me penned down to the river in either the LR or Maumelle pools, Lake Conway and Lake Maumelle.
I haven't crappie fished in decades, so any help I could get would be extremely appreciated.

Caught a few barely keepers this past Sun afternoon on Palarm creek fishing back towards the lake. Tried the little mo river Sat. afternoon for a little while but didnt do much. Lake Conway is still producing pretty well from what I gather from the guys here too. I havent fished the LR pool.

Try the Willow beach area along the old river channel up in the brush caught some up there on a black and chartruse, chartrusr head 1/16 oz. good luck
