Guess what my best friend fishing buddy and I are probably going big blue cat fishing tomorrow in this mess. Last year over fifteen blue cats where caught at the spillway during a heavy spring storm like this and all where over 60 .lbs
we will be either at the seep ditches or the lower St. Francis River at the bottoms.
Big fish get caught during this kind of disturbance here around marked tree and the sunken lands preserve.

I hope everyone over there in Arkansas is okay. Sure glad my son was in Hawaii on his honeymoon. He's in Maumelle. Looks as if they are saying you may get another round today as well. The dew points aren't as high as yesterday and plus the atomsphere is a little more stable. Any ways you guys be safe and if you need any help here from Oklahoma let us know.
Thanks for the prayers and the offers of help. We seem to be holding our own and for now, all is quiet.
Maumelle didn't take much damage as far as I know. Winds in my area were not bad and I'm not that far from there. All of Maumelle is within about 12 miles as the crow flies from me.
It sure made for a long night. Not looking forward to that again, but I guess I'll be taking a nap soon and checking all the usual stuff once more just to sure we're ready.
I hope Harold and others are safe. East End, CenterRidge, Scottland.... all got whomped pretty good last night. They do seem to be claiming only one dead at this point, despite confirmed reports of three dead last night.
We'll know more later today, I'm sure.
Hey neighbors, I hate to info you of this afternoon's weather, but with the sun juicing up the atomsphere and your dew points are now in the upper 60's and low 70's and strong upper level winds you are going to have another rough afternoon and evening.
Please make sure you keep your eyes open and ears glued to radio or television. Another tornado watch will be issued from N. La thru central Ark to the Ark/Mo line. East to the W. Miss. This will be issued by 3 pm today.
I just hope and pray no one has to endure this severe weather and hope no more lose of life is in place. You guys take care over there and please don't hesitate to ask for help.
It's starting again.
Yup... they have been issuing flash flood watches and thunderstorm warnings and now they just issued the first tornado warning. Bleh... Seems like its in Jefferson Co heading to Lonoke Co.
Looks like things may have got rough at Gold Creek. Hope Dan is ok.
