    Yep. They were mostly males holding off in about 5 to 6ft. It won't be long now.

    I thought about going over there tomorrow, too bad all my rods are in Mississippi.

    Heck, a stick with some line tied on it and a cricket hook are all you really need, especially if the mayflies are hatching! Just pick one up, pop it on the hook and catch a fish. Repeat until cooler is full. :D

    Do you scout the same way I do. Just go down the bank shaking the willow bushes stirring the mayflies and when there are a bunch of surface hits you stop and fish? :D
