Never fished Hurricane Bay before but I have been having good luck trolling jigs tipped with minnows in about 30' of water next to the standing timber.

    Forgot about that!!!

Last Summer, during a family campout, we found some spots on Miller's point directly across from Shiloh where there was some kind of landslide into the lake. The cover extended well into the water. It was full of crappie and I was a hero for finding it. I don't think it is too far from where you are staying.
    Good Luck.

Especially on Greers. That wind can come up from nothing and turn that place into an ugly thing in a hurry.

This is the best advice I have, take a umbrella, a rain suit and a small bucket to bail water with. And Dont hold your crappie rods to high in the air, they can turn into lightning rods.

If Greers got the rain we got in Batesville the bilge may not be enough.

    Default The Perfect Storm

Between the storm, the tourney, and just not wanting to wrestle the wind...I decided to stay home and cook steaks!
