Crappie Camp (Informal)

We're camping at Kirby Landing, site 32, like we did in the old days, just fishing, eating and talking about fishing. Anyone who wishes to come by, come on. Come camping this weekend, we'll be here at least till the 22nd.

Today was a good day but we didn't land any big ones, but the action was hot. Gotta start early though.

I just purchased a new camper from Razorback Campers in Hot Springs and I'm picking it up this Friday, and I'm in need of a campsite for this weekend to make sure everything works. But, the sales guy recommends I go to crystal springs or some place local.
Problem is, all the sites are booked for this weekend. Do you have to reserve a site on-line at Kirby or is it "first-come-first-serve"?

It first come first served here at Kirby till Memorial Day. There are a few empty right now and we'd be glad to have you around.

Great! Wife and I will come by Friday before picking up the camper to see if there any available spots.

Well, I wanted to get down there for a day at least, but things have not worked out well here for that plan. Would have enjoyed it.

How did things go? Did anyone show up? Did you leave any fish in the lake?:D
