I couldn't take it, had to go back today. Found the fish again not too far from where they were yesterday. The chillier temp's pushed them down and back in the main creek channel early this morning. Fished in the channel (6-7 fow) about 4 foot deep. Pink/chart. on chart head. And did very well on red/chart. with a pink head. 1/4 oz. weight about 15" above the jig to hold it down.
Fished the first big bay coming out of red barn landing. three of us kept a limit a piece of some nice 1 3/4-2 lb fish. Some HAWGS slipped away due to poor netting, LOL.
I'm going to see if I can get the pics off my phone and I can, i'll post later. The fish seem to have spawned out, or at least the ones we caught were. And they are hungry! Very aggresive hits, like smallmouth and then running with the bait!

Quit complaining about the color, just pull up your skirt and fish! -- snagged
I was out there sunday as well. Wind was gusting pretty good. We caught 11 between 2 of us but had to work for them. We also caught some good size bream. Congrats on the catch.
Anyone been there recently?
Thanks Dennis, congrats on the fine catches.
