    Unhappy Bad Day Crappie Fishin'

We have all had bad days out fishin', but I will never complain ever again after witnessing this. Good news is, everyone was ok, Bill had insurance, and a good humor about the whole ordeal. He told me when he called his insurance company, and told them what had happened, they asked if he needed roadside assistance. He said he told them "Hell no!, I need lakeside assistance !" But all jokin' aside, I have always feared this very thing happening to me and I'm shure alot of yall have too, we should all be more carefull, and not let our eagerness to get on the water keep us from being safe. Have a Goodun' ! :D

Th worst part is, they limited out. There is a two truck limit in that region of Arkansas but only if they don't have a trailer attached. If there is a trailer, its a strict one truck limit. :D

Poor guy... that stinks. I sure hope his insurance takes good care of him.

Yep that happens probably more often than we know. I have always had a fear of it and I do set the parking brake as well as put it in park.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

D-Ray I feel for that Guy. I have never done that one yet, but i have twice forgot to tie my launch rope off to the trailer only to watch my boat get carried off in the Arkansas River and blown out into the lake by heavy winds on Lake Conway. Both times i remember the helpless feeling i had as i watched my boat drift out of sight with all my equipment on board LOL. Thanks to the Army Corps and the AGFC i got them back un hurt. But man did i feel stupid. Lets see Oh ya i have also forgot to unstrap the boat and put the plug in while launching. You just got to laugh LOL

The exact same thing happened at the 412 ramp on Beaver Lake yesterday. I pulled up to launch my boat and there were 3 police cars, 2 game and fish trucks and a tow truck. The entire truck and trailer was submerged but the boat floated off. One of the wardens told me that one of the guys was in the driver's seat when it started going in...not sure why he didn't hit the e-brake or something but the warden said he thought something strange was going on. I would've loved to see them pull it out but had to go catch a few.
