Default Conway/Faulkner Lake/Toad Suck DAM reports

Fished Conway Cypress trees Friday morning and evening could only manage two decent fish. Wow it was slow for me I would tell ya what I was using but I dont think it would help much. LOL

Sat Fished Faulkner Lake 3PM-dark, Lake was low had to push boat off trailer at ramp. Warning if you go out there right now you better not take anything bigger than a 15' boat and take hip boats to push your boat off the trailer. This lake is Gin clear with a growth of Coon Tail moss all over the bottom right now. The bright news is there r some slabs in there cause i did manage to catch three of them 1-2 lbs and several nice bream. Long cast with 4lb low vis line, small bobber 2ft deep with an electric blue mid south tube and 1/32 black jig wht eyes. Im going to spend some more time on this lake soon, hopefully after the water rises a lil

Toad Suck dam after my grand son's B-Day party at the pavillion me, my dad, and uncle slid down and fished the little slackwater riprap inlet by the RV side boatramp for a couple hours from the bank, before dark and caught 7 decent crappie on Road Runner's chart 1/16th oz heads with Black/Chart and White/Chart Crappie Thunder skirts. Fished nine feet down caught some on a slip bobber and free casting.

All in All a pretty slow weekend of fishing for me, but what a great time being on the water with beautiful weather and spending time with the Fam.

Sorry your not on fish. Ain't this weather great!:D Most folks are catching few with some doing well. Just like always not matter how good they bite some just don't find them. Better go to the right body of water and sore lip a few.

The ones we caught this weekend ate it good, jig completely out of sight in thier mouths but we just couldnt get dialed in on where they were until yesterday evening late. Ran out of time to get to decent numbers.

Got an awesome report from where I am going this friday pm, sat and sun. Hopefully the weather and bite will hold for a few more days until I can get there.
