    Default Crappiemasters Tournament Today

Went fishing today at Gold Creek beginning around 12:30pm. Caught 10 small ones; threw them back. And Lake Conway was crawling with tournament boats today! My measly 17' Bass Tracker looked like a 10' jon boat, but it gets the job done.

Also, captured video of the weigh-in. A feller had 7 fish @ 13.33lbs

DA & CP, do you want me to post your walk of fame to the weigh-in?

Sure Shimmy hey Man thanks for coming out, we turned in a seven fish limit for 5.77 lbs. We probly caught 30 9 inchers and could only come up with 7 10-13 inchers. Good news is we caught our three biggest fish between 2-3:30 so i got high hopes for my spot in the Morning. You can post what ever you want, i dont mind. Also the biggest crappie caught on the trail, a 2.94 Hog was caught today. Did you get that one on cam? Wish I could have got that one. Hope to see you tomarrow.

The last time I talked to dafshklr, he told me he was wore out from fighting the wind and was heading home to CRASH!!!!!

I'm sure he won't mind the posting of the "walk".

Congrats to all on the tournament, it sure showcased the hawgs in conway! BIG success to include the kids rodeo which I heard had over 212 kids there! WOW.......

Hey Guys what a Great Tournament, A local Guy teamed up with a partner from I think MS won the tournament, 23.09 (somebody correct me if im wrong). DFK had a good tournament ill let him tell you about that if he wants. Me and my partner finished in the money 14th with 11.44lbs and qualified for the National Championship at Truman Res, Mo 5-9 Oct. I plan on fishing in that Tournament. SO if any of you-all know anything about Truman please get with me :D. Guys during this tournament we were on a great Cypress tree bite that went cold due to a bad cold spell, rain, and wind and unstable weather not to mention the fishing pressure. We tried and tried to get those fish to bite agian but could'nt. So we decided to fish Gold Creek we pretty much stuck to the creek not the pond and catch fish transitioning back into the lake. The fish were there but not enough size to take the big prize home. We were one of only six teams to turn in a seven fish limit both days, just needed a few more quality fish that never came. But I hope that CrappieMasters Comes back next year, cos i would love a chance to fish with them agian. CS, DP, Steve, Dennis hey guys thanks for coming out and nice seeing you. Ill put my Pic on Shimmys post to save room for the board. LOL I know you all see enough about Lake Conway the last few days.:D
