    Default Greers Ferry Lake


    Whats goin on guys? My folks got a place over at Greers Ferry at Hill Creek and I was wondering if the crappie fishing any good over there?

    Fished it last weekend. Caught a few small bass but no crappie. Water was real low but now its probaly up some. This warmer weather might get em goin.

    You must be use to the Lake being above normal pool. It's at 461.3 now which is normal pool. The last couple of years the Lake has been 10-20 foot above normal pool.

    Check the AGFC Fishing Report on their web site...they give forecast for all lakes and what is going on...
    If the good Lord is willing and the creeks dont rise I'll catch a slab today.

    The water has been high as a giraffe's azz the past couple years. Hard for a young buck to enjoy those cliffs when their under water. Got to resort to the bridge

    Went this morning, put in at Mill Creek and hit the 5 fingers area, no crappie . Did catch 6 short bass on crappie jigs, but it was cold. Water temp was 48* to 49.5*.
