    Wink Lake Hamilton Mar. 6

Took a trip with Darryl sat. on beautiful Lake Hamilton had 3 friends with me that are not fishermen so impatient that I am reluctant to take them fishing with me on Lake Erling but I am happy to say that Darryl stood up to the pressure with admirable professionalism crappie was slow and on the small side bream were huge weather was beautiful trip was entertaining not one of my friends wanted to leave early all in all a fun relaxing trip for me maybe not so much for Darryl I am glad that I never had to make a living catching the unpredictable crappie now I will get back to my no pressure fishing on Lake Erling.

where on Lake Hamilton do you fish? Have a lakehouse but am hardly ever over there. never have the time to fish it like I would like with all the boat traffic.

Thanks Dan for the kind words. Saturday was the day they started bringing Lake Hamilton back up to summer pool. The lake only likes a foot or so being full again today. I hope to get out there today and see if the crappie are starting to move in yet. Hamilton seems to be a week to ten days behind Greeson. Had a trip the other day on Greeson and never fished deeper than four foot. The big one, 2lbs.3ozs., was caught 18-inches deep.

I fish mostly around Entergy Island, Hot Springs Creek and Little Marzarn. Yes, the boat traffic can get pretty bad but all that means is you've got to start early and finish early (right at or before first light till about 10:30).

Darryl is a great guide with a second sense tuned to Crappie! Best trip I ever had. Cannot wait until I get to go again.
