    I think y'all put to much pressure on CP about this crappie tourney. I don't know the guy at all but some people don't like to tourney fish. I like the competition, especially when it's friendly, but some don't. Just my guess on why he hadn't been posting.

    If I remember correctly Russ is working Mon-Fri now so he can't fish during the week.

    I don't think the tourny is bothering Russ at all. The last we spoke, he planned on fishing in it I believe.

    Bingo!....I talked to him last week....now that he's out of the deer woods and I'm out of the duck woods he wanted to get together and do some fishing but I'm not doing so hot at the moment and I'm having neck surgery on March 3rd. so I won't be able to get after them until sometime in April. You can bet he'll have a pattern on them slabs for the tournament.

    He sort of disappeared the day the tourny was announced. He probably has them all named by now.

    He was busy chasing deer through most of January then came down with the crud...but now he's started back chasing the slabs.....probably won't hear much out of him here for awhile.....He takes a crappie tournament on his home waters pretty serious!
