If a person were going to be in Mid-Arkieville in the middle of march what would be a good lake to fish??? looking for a good fishery that is fairly easy to figure out the pattern. What would your recommendations be??? May be in the Stuttgrat/pine Bluff area around mar 10th and thinking of hauling the boat down and stay a couple extra days to fish.
boat is rigged to spider rig (not very good at it yet) but really enjoy dippin' minnows or jigs in the brush.

Try fishing in Cane Creek west of Star City. You ought to hang some big ones in there with all them poles:D:D
OR you can come down a little further south and fish Chicot, Grand, Lee and Washington. There's a good chance you can catch a mess at anyone of the above locations during that time.
Horseshoe, Burnt Cane, East Moon, Midway or whitehall depending on water levels
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
