Jason, Thank you for the great word on my new product. I am glad you are making great use of them. I look forward to working with you and putting more structure in our lake.
I have been working for years to get more structure back in Beaver Lake but it is a pain staking and timely task. Plus over the years I have about drown myself in freezing cold water, about had my head torn off by a cedar branch, scratched my boat, made my wife mad by having fish structure decorate the yard, plus the time away from home collecting trees, building structure and then trying to get it in the lake. Trying to drag a decent size cedar tree through the water is not a fun task as many of you probably know, plus the amount of weight it takes to sink one can make for a fun days work. I also us a lot of hand tied jigs and it is very frustrating loosing these in tree branches. THEN the most frustrating of all is sitting here watching all the fishermen sit over my spots all day long. All of these things lead to my search for something to help make this task much easier so I could spend more time fishing.
Well after years of trying many different things I came up with a version of what Jason showed in his pictures. After having incredible success over the years my fishing buddies wanted me to start making them some of my structure and many of them encouraged me to make them for selling. I wanted to make a product that helped relieve many of the issues involved, as listed above, with putting out structure. One of the great benefits of this product is that these can be put in the bottom of the boat out of view, no one knows you are about to put out structure, get to your spot you want to place structure, unbox and in about 5 minutes you can assemble the rack and have it in the water. The branches fit inside the pipe, there is NO MESS and the assembly of this product is so fast. Jason, John and I put out about 6of these in less than an hour. Plus it is so fast that you can wait until there are no other boats around and get them in the water without being seen. You can also brush up a dock very quickly without a lot of mess and there is no weight needed. My dock is fishing heaven as I have these placed all the center structure of the dock.
I know there are a lot of you that the process of making your own structure is part of the chase. I fully understand that because I am one of those. However there are many people that do not have the time, space, resources, or may not physically be able to make and haul heavy/bulky natural or man made structure to the lake. Others have limited time and when they get a chance to go to the lake they want to be fishing. Now you have the ability to spend most of the day fishing with the added bonus of taking just a few extra minutes creating your own sweet spots for your trips to the lake.

Funny you mention the ceder trees in your yard. I remember years ago long before I knew you I'd see tons of ceders piled up in your yard for weeks at a time. I can agree with your Wife, I bet she loves this new less messier product!!
Jason,
Good to read your post -- let me know how spring shakes out for you.
