The ABSOLUTE best crappie bait EVER is a 10 foot fiddler net with 1 inch mesh. Every spring we'll set out a couple up Maumelle Creek and lift 200-300 big ole black crappie out every couple days per net. Son, I mean 1 3/4 - 2 pounders...ALL OF 'EM!!! Heck we get so tired of cleaning 'em after a couple weeks of it we just start selling 'em to the ninja's on the street corner. 50 cents a pop adds up QUCIK!!!
