Yep, I will be on the water in the AM..Dardanelle or Nimrod, not sure yet. I was through your town yesterday. Went to Beebe to get an axle for my boat trailor.

rtark I'm gonna drive up and crappie fish Daranelle some time or another, its on my list. Specifically Piney Bay, its my papas old fishing grounds. When I do decide to make the drive I'll let ya know, might see you on the water.

Same o story, went to gold creek, I caught 0 fish. Guess I'm gonna have to buy some minnows that way my hands will at least smell fishy. There were getting to b several boats at the ramp when I left. I talked to a guy who said he caught 12 yesterday. No doubt in my mind that if I knew what I was doin I coulda caught some.

I went to piney but didn't stay too long there. All the shad have gone back the the river and the Crappie follow them. They will be coming back soon. I loaded up and went to the strip pits over by I-40 off the Illinois bayou and brought home 12 keepers.You really have to watch the depth finder cuz they were in 35' of water staying 5 foot from the bottom. one foot off and you won't catch them. When I see fish at a given depth, I lower my jig next to the depth finder and watch it go down and then stop it when it gets right on the fish. If your lucky the fish will be crappie. I have a lot of days like yours too.
