    Default Lake Chicot water level

Anyone know the water level at chicot. Last I heard it was so low that you could not launch you boat from the ramps. I live a few miles away and would like to save a trip if the lake is not accessible. I normally like to launch at the Ditch or Conley ramps. Thanks for any replies in advance.

The current water level is 104.19. The normal water level is 106. Both ramps should be usable becuase they were usable at the lowest point of the draw down this summer which was around 101.

    Default Water Level

I've been fishing there all year and I have'nt had any trouble at Connerly or Ditch. I fished last Friday and the lake was offcolor, Ditch and Connerly was MUDDY. Didn't catch a fish. I'll be back there Monday, I hope the lake will be a little more clear. It was up about 3ft from the top of Ditch Bayou dam.

I launched yesterday at Connerly Bayou ramp. Plenty deep but I've been using it all the time. I saw several boats using Ditch Bayou ramp on Tuesday. No problems.

I fished chicot this weekend and all boat ramps are accessible. i put in at the county park and had no problems. the lake is about a 1.5ft low and muddy. i am usually able to catch a few in ditch and around my boo in the lake. Didn't get a bite. Fished the gravel pits saturday morning, NOTHING! It was a tough weekend. I cant wait to until the water gets right!!

William, fished Ditch Monday and didn't catch a keeper. Kinda slow right now and the lake is offcolor from the north end to the south end. Grand is high and Washington is muddy. Looks like it will be a few week before everything gets going. Holla at me next time u come down, I got some more bamboo to sink.:D:D

I fished Ditch on Tuesday (yesterday) and didn't do much at all. Even trolled some in the lake all the way up to the Lakeshore motel ramp. I was on the fish but derned if I could get 'em to do anything. The lake's about a foot low now and with the 2 to 3 inch rain they are promising tomorrow, it may be back to normal pool by next week. Or close to it.

Looking for some new locations. we have put out over 50 boos this year. i have been fishing conway during the week and doing pretty good. Caught 11 monday and 13 yesterday. its gettin me thru the hard times at chicot. When that lake gets right there is not a better spot to fish in this state!!
